Swann Construction, Inc. is minority owned company based at 1300 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002.  Mr. Swann is Native American of the Piscataway Conoy Tribe of Maryland and is currently an active member of the tribe.

Swann Construction commenced business in 2001 in the state of Maryland and 2003 in Washington, DC when the Company purchased the Roofing Division from John G. Webster Company, which was an established roofing company since 1912.

Mr. Swann was an employee of John G. Webster for seven years and had an additional five years of building and construction experience in commercial and residential construction prior to his arrival at John G. Webster Company. During these years, Mr. Swann sought to achieve a level of professionalism and quality of work that was unknown in the construction industry that he continues today.

As Swann Construction grew, the company became incorporated in October 2005 in Washington, D.C., and has completed a large volume of commercial, government, and residential projects throughout the years with the heaviest concentration of projects inside the District of Columbia. In January 2008, Swann Construction, Inc. became LSDBE (CBE) certified # LSZ77239012010 and in January 2009 became DDOT and WMATA (DBE) certified # 09-0183-1.
